About
The Weekend Matchplay competition is played on a Sunday during summer across various metropolitan golf courses. The competition was set up to give women who work full time the opportunity to participate in a matchplay competition. It is open to all metropolitan clubs who wish to enter a team.
Six players constitutes a team for individual handicap Matchplay, with the handicap limit being set to a maximum of 40.
