About

An initiative of Women's Golf Victoria, Sunday Grade Pennant was first played in 2006. Sunday Grade Pennant was initiated to replace Spring weekend matchplay to give golfers the opportunity to play first class weekend pennant competition. In its first year, 24 clubs competed over five weeks in four grades and it was extremely well received by all involved.

WGV's Match Committee reviewed Sunday Grade Pennant in early 2008 and decided to continue the competition in its current form for a further two years, at which time it will be reviewed again.
