Women's Golf Victoria offers 34 events on its annual Tournament Calendar. WGV coordinate and deliver various State Championships, teams and pairs events catering to all levels of playing ability. 

WGV also supports and raises money for charity organisations such as the Royal Women's Hospital and Foundation for Young Australians within our tournament program.

2009 Kangaroo Trophy


The Kangaroo Trophy was held on June 30 2009 on the first day of the Anglesea Camp, Tilly Poulson (3) from Kingston Heath won the overall gross on a count back with the defending champion Rachel Korevaar (5) from Queens Park.

Alex White (33) from The Dunes won the Overall Nett with a score of 68 and

Anna Coffey (45) from Traralgon won the 9 hole stableford competition. Congratulations to all girls who completed the camp and we look forward to seeing you at future events

A big thank you to Anglesea Golf Club for giving up their course and practice facilities for the camp. WGV also would like to thank all the volunteers and coaches who made the camp possible.

About

The WGV Kangaroo Trophy is played during the annual 4 Day Anglesea Junior Girls' Golf Camp at Anglesea Golf Club. The winner and runner up of the gross event are invited to represent Victoria at the Jack Newton Junior Invitational Tournament, played each October in Cessnock, NSW.

Without doubt, the Kangaroo Trophy is one of the major events on the junior tournament calendar with player's results and performances counting towards State Team selection.
