WGV seeks to be exemplary in its leadership and governance. Regular board meetings together with frequent meetings of the key committees ensure the ongoing progress and management of WGV.

Chairs from both the board and the committees undertake regular governance training to make certain our organisation achieves and abides by legal, fiscal and ethical responsibilities.

Equal Opportunity and Quality Policy

To ensure that golf is the sport of choice for females of all ages WGV strives to promote equality and equity for our members and participants. Equal Opportunity legislation makes it mandatory that men and women have equal rights in golf clubs.

It is important that Committees of Affiliated Golf Clubs ensure that both the provision and intent of the legislation are observed, whilst preserving amongst the membership the good relations and harmony necessary within a club environment.
