About WGV
Women's Golf Victoria is the state sporting association for women's golf in Victoria. WGV consists of affiliated golf clubs, women's golf league, districts and individual members. WGV represents 374 clubs in 21 districts (15 regional and 6 metropolitan) and over 26,500 members. WGV is responsible for delivering quality golfing services to its broad member base.
WGV has the key objectives of organising, promoting and regulating women's golf in Victoria. WGV exists because golf clubs have the need for a central forum to cover issues such as golf rules, course rating, handicapping, competition conditions, district and interstate events as well as many legal, administrative, marketing and financial issues.
WGV has the responsibility of growing the game and securing the future of golf in Victoria through junior development, introductory clinics, increased tournament activity, improved access to facilities and promotion of the game to the broader market.

Our Responsibilities
WGV is a not-for-profit organisation that spans the entire women's golf community in our state, from grass roots to elite level.
We understand the role that our game plays within the community. Golf is a game for life, and participating in golf makes for a positive lifestyle which mixes healthy activity and social connection.
WGV acknowledges a responsibility to invest in the community which supports us. We have in place a series of policies, programs and practices that reflect our commitment to be a corporate and socially responsible organisation.
