History

In 2006, WGV celebrated 100 years of women's golf in Victoria. To commemorate, WGV published a Centenary Address book and introduced a state-wide women's four-ball tournament, to raise money for the Royal Women's Hospital Foundation. With the support of our members and the wider golf community we raised in excess of $40,000 to support the training of a doctor within the hospital's Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Unit.

WGV continues to raise money for the Royal Women's Hospital and we encourage all female golfers to participate in the WGV RWH Four-Ball Tournament at their home club. For $10 (plus $5 P&H) you can purchase WGV's Centenary Address Book with all funds going directly to the RWH Foundation.
