2008 VICTORIAN AMATEUR FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIP

Sunny skies but blustery winds greeted the girls for the 2008 Victorian Amateur Foursomes Championship.  Peninsula Country Golf Club was presented exceptionally well and the South course provided a challenge for competitors who have travelled from around Victoria and interstate.  Clare Choi (Huntingdale) and Stephanie Brennan (Yarra Yarra) teamed well but were unable to close out the outright title with South Australian girls, Sarah King (Royal Adelaide) and Jovanna Bozanic (Royal Adelaide) coming home well in the last 18 to tie with Choi and Brennan on 156. For full leaderboard click here  Full list of trophy winners click here

VICTORIAN PAR 3 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Day 2 of the Victorian Par 3 Championship hosted by Kyabram Parkland Golf Club saw a dramatic finale with Kate Moore(4) from Shepparton and Tracey Clouston(10) from Numurkah in a sudden death play off for the title.  Clouston's par putt lipped out whilst Moore was steady and holed out for par to title Kate Moore the 2008 Victorian Par 3 Champion.  With blusterly wet conditions, many players decided not to brave the elements, however there were still some good scoring present.  Click here for full leaderboard   Click here for full list of prize winners
